Teresa Cox Kornegay, 65, LaGrange, died, Thursday, January 27, 2022, at her residence. Please practice social distancing and wear your face masks. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.  The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 12:00 PM at the LaGrange-Frink Alumni and Friends Association. Interment will follow in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

She is survived by her sisters, Pastors Janet Wiggins (Reginald Wiggins) of LaGrange, NC, Wilhemenia King (Antonio King) of Kinston, NC, sister/aunt, Millie Rouse Dunbar of Los Angeles, CA, brother, James Kornegay, Jr., of LaGrange, NC. Children by love daughters, Patrina Pugh, Fayetteville, NC, Nicole (William) Mitchell, Goldsboro, NC, Annie (Walter) Ham, Goldsboro, NC, son by love, Tarrell Brown, NY, grands by love, Sa'Mya Brown and Antonio Christopher, LaGrange, NC. A host of other relatives and friends.
