Richard Earl Cannon, 63, Farmville, died, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Wayne UNC Health Care. Please practice social distancing and wear your face masks.  

 A visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Victory & Dominion World Outreach Center.  Interment will be on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Betty P.  Cannon, and sons, Anthony P. Prayer, Charles Ormond, Chevis Cannon, and Alton D. Prayer, daughters, Chevetta Nakihei, and Tasha Nobles Jones, brothers, Charles Cannon, Jr., William Thomas Cannon, Alton Royce Cannon, and Reverend Dwight Bernard Cannon, sisters, Gail Thomas, and Nell Cannon. A host of other relatives and friends.
