Mattie Dixon Walker, 84, Snow Hill, died Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Wayne UNC Health Care. Please practice social distancing and wear your face masks. A  visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 6 PM to 7 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.  The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 11 AM at the Snow Hill Cemetery.   "IN CASE OF RAINY WEATHER CONDITIONS, SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT THE S. CONNOR MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL."

She is survived by her husband, Archie Walker, Snow Hill, NC, sons, Prophet Bennie Dixon, Kinston, NC, Reginald Dixon, Accokeek, MD, Archie L. Dixon, Jr., Orange Park, FL, daughter, Shelia Walker, Charlotte, NC, sisters, Dorothy Streeter, Snow Hill, NC, and Laveria Miller of Snow Hill, NC. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
