Linda was reared on her family farm with her ten siblings in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Linda's faith in God was central to he life. She shared her love of God with others through her many musical talents. Her angelic voice was often heard in concert with her siblings and in church choirs. Linda was also a talented musician and songwriter. Linda's song "There Is a Reason" is still sung today by those blessed to have known her.
