Lemon Ashby Edwards, 75, Raleigh, formerly of Greene County, transitioned on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Capital Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh. 

There will be a wake one-hour prior to the service.  A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12:00 pm at Invitation AME Zion Church in Snow Hill. Interment will follow in St. James AME Zion Cemetery in Snow Hill.

He is survived by his son, Quincy Edwards, daughter, April Russell, brother, James P. Edwards, Jr., sister, Faye D. Daniels. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
