Jerry Lenardo Smith, 59,  Snow Hill, NC, transitioned Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. There will be a walk-in viewing held on Friday, November 24,  2023,  from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill. Dr. Marlene Williams will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Mills Family Cemetery in Snow Hill.

He  is survived by his brothers, Roger Smith, Wilmington, NC, Arnold Jerome Smith, Graingers, NC, sisters, Clementine Gates, Atlanta, GA, Nellie King, Brooklyn, NY, Linda Taylor, Snow Hill, NC, Marzette Dawson, Snow Hill, NC, Mary Carr, Virginia Beach, VA, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
