Howard Dodd, 72, Snow Hill, transitioned, Monday, July 10, 2023, at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Goldsboro. A wake will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Washington Branch FWB Church in Snow Hill.  Interment will follow in the St. Delight Cemetery in Walstonburg.

He is survived by his daughters, Shirley Hines, Goldsboro, NC, Angela Egberongbe, NJ, Ajarat Dash, NJ, sons, Howard Dodd, Jr., Farmville, NC, Howard Egberongbe, NY, brothers, Curtis Dodd, NC, Willie Wayne Lancaster, NJ, William Dodd, NJ, Theodore Dodd, SC, sisters, Annie Dodd, NC, Brenda Dodd, NC, Linda Lancaster, NC, Carolyn Lancaster, Augusta, GA, Darlene Lancaster, Farmville, NC. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
