George Sykes Davis, 73, of Snow Hill, transitioned at his residence on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. 

 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 12:00 pm at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. 

He is survived by his son, Larry Dancy, Rocky Mt., NC, brothers, Henry Davis, Tommy Davis, sisters, Jeanette Davis, Mary Whitaker. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
