Ennis Allen Sykes, Sr., 77, LaGrange, died, Friday, March 11, 2022, at  Wayne UNC Health Care. Please practice social distancing and wear your face masks.  A walk-in viewing will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM at the LaGrange-Frink Alumni Friends Association Center. Pastor Antonio Blow will be officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 12:00 PM at the Eastern Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro. 

He is survived by his wife, Anita Sykes, LaGrange, NC, son, Ennis Allen Sykes, Jr., Goldsboro, NC, daughter, Ennicia Sykes, Durham, NC, sister, Alice Sykes Lampley, Roseland, NJ. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
