I am so saddened to learn of the passing and burial of Bishop Annie Bell Smith-Carr. God could not have placed a more loving and kinder person in my life, especially after the passing of my mother, Alice Burney Smith. Bishop Smith-Carr always had a beautiful and sweet spirit and I loved to see her smile. What a glow! She loved the Lord and always shared a word of inspiration and encouragement with me and others who spent many, many, many nights in her home. I will truly miss stopping by the "beauty shop" to see her when I come to Kinston.

To Peggy, Joyce, Barbara, Gloria, Monte and Anthony....my heart goes out to you. May God give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. Love you All.
