Elder Ernestine Kornegay Exum, 72, of Smithfield, died, Monday, March 23, 2020, at Barbour Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Smithfield. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at 3 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston. A walk-in viewing will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020, at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her children, Jarvis Simmons, Jr., of Raleigh, NC, Antonio P. Simmons, of Pikeville, NC, Geno O. Exum, of Smithfield, NC, and Tomeca M. Exum Johnson,  of Willow Spring, NC.
