Effie Streeter Jones, 74, Snow Hill died, Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at her residence. Please practice social distancing and wear your face masks. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A wake will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Maury Chapel FWB Church.

Elder Trey Hamm will be officiating. Interment will follow in the St. James AME Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Betty Streeter, Snow Hill, NC, Ronnie Streeter, Jacksonville, NC, a sister, Elizabeth Ann Sims, Hookerton, NC. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
