Edward Thomas Wooten, Jr., 90, Kinston, died at Lenoir UNC Health Care on Thursday, February 9, 2023. A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Bishop William Cobb, Sr. will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Lodge Hall Cemetery in Snow Hill.

He is survived by his son, Ronald Wooten, Hookerton, NC, and sister, Effie Fields, Buffalo, NY. A host of other relatives and friends.
