Edward Lee Exum, 83,  LaGrange, NC, transitioned Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Greendale Forest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Snow Hill. There will be a wake held on Saturday, November 18,  2023,  from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday at 1:30 PM at the Lovick's Chapel AME Zion Church in LaGrange, NC. Interment will be held in the Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.

He  is survived by his wife, Willie Exum, LaGrange, NC, son, Ricky Brown, daughters, Cassandra Exum, Shuntina Harper, brother, Jasper Exum, sister,  and Shirley Rice. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
