Alton Royce Hill, 76, Snow Hill, NC, "Jason community" transitioned Saturday, December 23, 2023, at his residence. There will be a walk-in viewing held on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2:00  at the St. Mary FWB Church in LaGrange. Bishop Antonio Blow will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Greene County Veteran's Cemetery in Snow Hill.

He is survived by his  son, Johnathan Shackleford, Waynesville, MD, daughter, Latoya Peaches Speight, Snow Hill, NC, brothers, Jerry Pridgen, Oneil Williams sisters, Linda Jackson, Greenville, NC, Deliliah Edwards Williams A host of  grandchildren,uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
