Alinda C. Brown,  93,  of Goldsboro, died on Saturday, August 29, 2020, at her residence. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at 11 AM at S. Connor Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Snow Hill, NC.  Apostle Norbert E. Simmons will be officiating. There will be a one hour viewing before the service. A limited amount of people will be able to attend the service due to Cov-19 restrictions. Please, everyone use your mask, practice social distancing, and utilize the chapel door for the service. Interment will follow in the Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Hammonds of Goldsboro, NC, Michael Hammonds of Stone Mountain, GA, William Hammonds of Seven Springs, NC, Alan Hammonds of Goldsboro, NC, daughter, Eunice Hammonds-Harshaw of Goldsboro, NC, sisters, Dorothy Jones of Union City, GA, and Deanna Mason of Midlothian, VA. A host of other relatives and friends.
